EPISODE 71 - THE RISE OF SHE ROSE
Wednesday Nov 06, 2024
Wednesday Nov 06, 2024
In this episode, I sat down with the exquisite artists Sedona Swan Soulfire and Marya Stark to discuss their collaborative project "She Rose," a sacred offering to the rising Divine Feminine.
The profound symbolism of the rose is at the heart of this work. For both Swan and Marya, the rose has been a deeply personal and spiritual ally on their journeys of self-reclamation and embodiment of the Goddess.
Since childhood, Swan has associated the rose with the fragrance, power, and cyclical nature of the feminine. Her womb healing journey led her to the rose as a symbol of recovery, innocence, and the monthly initiations of her cycle.
Marya describes the rose as a "crown jewel," an archetypal representation of the different aspects of the Goddess that she has befriended on her path.
Together, the rose is seen as a "dream labyrinth," holding the intelligence and mysteries of the feminine experience. It symbolizes the blossoming, ripening, and shedding of the petals, mirroring the ages, stages, and evolutions of womanhood.
The rose is also connected to sacred lineages, the rose gamos (sacred marriage), and the celestial remembrances of the priestess archetypes.
At the core of the "She Rose" offering is a deep understanding of the transformative power of initiatory performance and ritual theater. Ultimately, "She Rose" is an artistic homage to the reclamation of the Divine Feminine that is already unfolding in the world.
This work is a way to amplify and celebrate the rise of the Goddess through their creative offerings. By weaving together music, dance, ritual, and myth, they hope to touch the hearts and souls of all who experience it. The art becomes a vibrational transmission, a catalyst for catharsis, and a reflection of the interconnectedness we all share as human beings on a journey of awakening.
We cover:
The inspiration and message behind "She Rose"
The significance of the rose symbolism and the "path of the rose"
The importance of ceremonial initiation and the concept of the "initiated body" in their work
The challenges and growth experienced through their collaborative creative process
Details on the upcoming "She Rose" performance tour dates and locations
Insights from the Magdalene Rose Oracle on the Sapphire Blue Frequency as an ally for their work

EPISODE 70 - THE MASCULINE PSYCHE
Monday Oct 07, 2024
Monday Oct 07, 2024
Last year in Avalon, I had the great pleasure of spending time with Jonathan and his wife Sarah as they embarked on a journey of renewing their vows through the sacred art of anointing with the holy oils. It was one of the most moving experiences I’ve curated and focalized as a ceremonialist. I was deeply touched by Jonathan’s ability to enter into deep sacred relationship with the holy oils, and I knew then that I wanted to interview him about masculinity and how to support healing between men and women.
In this beautiful deep-dive dialogue, Jonathan shares some of the inner workings of the masculine psyche and some of the ways men interpret the things they hear from their partners. Translation can be a real issue!
What I loved most about this interview was hearing about how Jonathan resisted coming into doing his own work, and how this shifted for him. If I’ve heard it once I’ve heard it a thousand times – women on a spiritual path really want their men to do it with them. Yet, they often don’t know how to invite them to engage in deeper transformational work.
In this episode, we explore:
Challenges men face in expressing emotions and connecting deeply in relationships
How men are often socialized to suppress emotions and focus on being providers rather than emotional connectors
How women can encourage their male partners to do personal growth work without forcing it
Differences in communication styles and needs between men and women in relationships
How to make clear requests and then step back to help men feel empowered to respond
Why men may fear failure or disappointment and how this causes them to put less effort into their relationships
Recognizing and appreciating subtle expressions of vulnerability from men
The importance of understanding each other's "love languages" in a relationship

EPISODE 69 - THE POWER OF ALCHEMICAL ART
Monday Sep 16, 2024
Monday Sep 16, 2024
To kick off Season 7 and my deep-dive dialogues with men on healing the masculine and feminine, please join me and the illustrious Jamie Catto, a divine fool and advocate for the deepest of healing for both men and women.
Jamie and I met over 35 years ago, and you can get the whole backstory when you listen to the podcast! In this episode, we discuss our parallel journeys of leading from the middle of the mess and embracing the divine foolery of life.
What I love most about this conversation with Jamie is his vulnerable, irreverent, and at times antagonistic version of masculinity and humanity. It is not only refreshing but also an initiation into the greater honesty and humor about our flawed beauty!
In his words: "Life is like a rodeo horse covered in Vaseline, you know, you're gonna be on your ass a good few times a day. You've got to start finding it funny!”
Some of what we explore:
Cultivating the Sacred Fool within & how this helps us heal
Why it's important to be kind to the young, fragile parts of ourselves
How to disrupt the “holier than thou” spiritual bypass & cultivate political incorrectness
The value of embracing all aspects of the self & how this leads to greater authenticity and creativity
Complex dynamics between masculinity & femininity, including men's potential "addiction" to women's radiance
The need for healing for men & women

EPISODE 67 - THE POWER OF ALCHEMICAL ART
Tuesday Apr 30, 2024
Tuesday Apr 30, 2024
Join Elayne Kalila and her soul sister Eden Amadora as they dive into the alchemical power of creativity and music. Come with them as they debunk some of the most common shadows so many have internalized about who gets to be creative or artistic! This one is for you if you’ve ever said, “I can't sing, draw, or dance!”
Together they dive deep into the shadowlands to see how art is alchemical in nature, and how every one of us has access to the incredible power of art to work with the parts of self that we have cast out.
Eden shares about her own deep shadow work with confronting her internalized judgment and separation from the masculine and her anger with the male face of God. This deep processing birthed an incredible body of work through her called the “Sun Heart,” a 3-month self-study program through the rite of Hieros Gamos, the inner marriage.
They also share how important it is for us as women to heal any parts of our inner world where we are in judgment, contempt, or hatred for the masculine, and understand that masculinity is not the same as patriarchy – although they are so often conflated and seen as the same thing.
You’ll want to hang out to the end of this one to hear a very intimate acapella preview of a new song Eden is currently working on that is STUNNING!
In this episode:
How we avoid and resist looking at the darker shadow aspects of self, and how this can keep us stuck on our life path
What it is to enter into alchemical work with our shadows and least liked parts of self
How we need to discern the difference between patriarchy and masculinity and how this can free us from the internalized projections onto men that continue to separate us
Hear an intimate LIVE acapella version of a beautiful new song that Eden is dedicating to the sacred marriage of Yeshua + Magdalene
